Rogowski Coil sensors are based sensors and used for measuring alternating current (AC) or high-speed current. The induced voltage being proportional to the derivative current in the straight conductor, it is common to plug an integrator to the output of the smart grid sensor as it will provide an output signal that is proportional to the current.
